Earth’s Bleak Future

Humans are doing too much damage for anyone to cope. Planting 1.7 billion acres of trees will only help remove 10% of the carbon dioxide that we emit annually. 1.7 billion acres. That’s about the size of the United States.

Carrying on our current trajectory, there’s no stopping the increase of the global temperature by 2 degrees Celsius.

So what do we do? Cue Interstellar plot and hope that we solve the black hole equation? Mass killing of humans, who are the main problem contributors?

Your guess is as good as mine.
